Hey guys.......bad news. Sadie our female pug is no longer with us on this earth. :'( She had something wrong with her Pancrius(?)and they couldn't get her blood sugar to go down. If they had gotten it to go down then it was a big possibility that she would become blind and eventually deaf. She was in ALOT of pain. So they did they only thing that they could do....they put her down.

Jayla is now 2 lbs. 14 oz!! We couldn't believe it last night! Not to much more to 3lbs! I am so excited! Everyone there says that she is a perfect canadate for the NIM which is a different part of neonatal. There are not as many machines I guess either. Hopefully when she goes over there we can just work on her feedings. I am so proud of her! Making this short this morning so I can go visit her! I will try to update more later.

We have our favorite nurse today!! Days are so much better when we feel comfortable with who istaking care of our baby. Chad and I met with the doctor and the social worker yesterday for the first meeting. It went great!!! The doctor gave such positive news!! He said that Jayla is actually a boring baby right now. No news is good news!!! I am so very proud of her. She is in the clear for resp. problems and has passed all of her other exams/ultrasound (head,heart). She will have an eye exam before she leaves, but it sounds like she is very healthy! She needs to grow and be able to bottle feed and keep her body tempature without the incubator
